DOD delete Timing Chain tensioner question??
I got my DOD delete kit from TSP and it came with a new tensioner for the timing chain. It is a simple block PN#12588670 and the one on the engine is a larger spring loaded guide. I would think the old one would be better. Do I have to change it to work with the new 3 bolt cam and sprocket?
Thanks

It tightens as the engine warms up. If all is put together right, it will be fine.

They are loose because aluminum blocks/heads really GROW. Once warm, they are as tight as necessary. The looseness when cold is of no consequence.
