I've purchased a set of lightly used lsa heads & the "wing" is not there, they have not been ported as far as I can tell and the ports look as cast.The heads are stamped LSA on the outside & under the cover is 1260 & 4863. Can someone tell me what they are? I dont want to sink a bunch of money in them if their not what I'm after! Thanks in advance

 

LSA heads don't really have a "wing" perse, but they should have a "ledge". Look at the picture below.

 

Yeah, that's it. LS7's have "wings", LS9 "ledges". GOTTA keep that straight!
Though to make it LS3 equivalent, just grind the ledge out...
