High psi compression test L92?

High psi compression test L92? Just picked up a 2008 Yukon Denali from a buddy that took excellent care of it but ran 87 octane the whole time. Pulled the plugs and did a compression test and got between 230-260 psi, the 230 were on the passenger side so the fitting might not have been all the way in, either way it was pretty consistent, just HIGH! I know the gauge is good because i got around 200 psi when I tested my LS6 and around 160 psi when testing my high mileage LS1.
Any ideas? carbon build up? I already seafoamed it and use only 93 octane and it runs like a beast, I can tell a difference just with the fuel change.

VVT Pin Lock Position Hi Mike, I have an Escalade 2007+ with the L-92 VVT.
The VVT motor is locked by a pin for start cam advance positioning.
The Oil Pressure/PCM command changes cam timing AFTER the engine is in operation.
I have not done a compression test on my car, I would check for a GM specification ?
