Default 408 Stroker Build Question

Purchased a LQ9 from a friend and I am planning to do a 408 stroker. I know the cost can be all over the place with a build but was curious what some of yall ended up spending and the power that was made?

If you want good prices on the stuff needed for the build, call WS6store, a vendor/sponsor here. GREAT service and tech help, too.

Give Thompson Motorsports a ring as well. I bought my 370 LQ9 from them. Great customer service and prices

If you dont mind me asking about how much did you end up shelling out and how much power did you end up making?

If you're asking me, I'm not sure on my power exactly but I know its around 450 rwhp or so running n/a. I used my old top end from my LS1 setup. Obviously that's where the power is at and not so much the cubes.

Price wise, I'd have to go back and look. I wanna say maybe around $2500 or so for the complete forged shortblock balanced and blueprinted. That came with a cam and all the miselanneous stuff

If you supply the block we can put it together for about $3499 including rotating assembly, machine work, bearings, rings ect rated to 900HP. Give us a call if we can help.

Thanks again for the recommendation HCI2000ss

We can build them from 364-427CI in a 6.0 block. Call us for details. Some are better than others depending on application.
