Default Need a list of all parts needed to go with LS3 short block

My friend has an LS3 short block & heads. He is in need of a list of all parts he will need to make this complete & ready to drop in & run. Also, he is looking to buy an LSA blower so if anyone is selling, let me know. Going into a TBSS

This is too vague, what is he dropping it into?

If it's an Fbody go over to the GenIV Internal section and look at the first sticky.

For some kind of hybrid, say a Miata ( ) check that forum.

+1 on needing more information. Without which we will have no idea of the specifics...

Are the heads off? Are they assembled with springs? He'll likely need a set of stock rockers and pushrods if he is not upgrading anything. But there is no better time to do it.

Regardless, he will need/could use:
-engine harness and PCM
-LS3 intake manifold with fuel rail and injectors (if going with EFI)
-TB (depends on application and PCM wether to use DBW or DBC)
-exhaust (depends on application)
-motor mounts (depends on application)
-engine accessories (water pump, alternator, AC compressor?, PS pump?, again depends on application)

If he's going with an LSA (BTW I'd swear I just saw someone on here selling a kit in the for sale section yesterday for like 4500) then that covers the top end.

I'm rusty on LS2s vs. LS1s but I think they are a 58x crank so you're fine there. Cam sensor is on the front cover too, and knock sensors in the block. I don't think there's much he'll need to change as far as the sensors and pcm go.

Exhaust should transfer as well as most of the accessories though I have zero experience with an LSA on a TBSS accessory drive.

In that case I think you'd just need an LS3 intake with fuel rail and injectors (if not going with the blower). You'll also need to use the LS3/L92 offset rockers if the heads don't have them. I believe everything else will swap over from the LS2 (TB, accessories, harness, exhaust, etc.). Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can confirm if I am overlooking anything or incorrect.

He's selling his complete LS2 so he will need everything to go on the LS3

Why? It's not difficult to sell a LS2 long block. The hassle of piecing together everything needed when most of it is already sitting on the LS2 doesn't seem worth it to me.
