Default Push Rod question

Measured my push rods today came up with 7.700 length.

These are going in my LS7 motor 09 z06.

Question is does the head of the push rod need to be tapered or does that matter at all any benefit?

My guess is doesn't matter since stock are not.

I was looking at MAN-25772-16

Will those work thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!

That seems REALLY long... stock is 7.400".

Yes those are the stock configuration. 5/16", ball both ends, 1-pc. Taper is not necessary since they're stock diameter.

Its a LS7, so stock push rods are not 7.4.

They are around the 7.7 length.

Stock ls7 push rods are 7.800" folks that i do know 100%.

The question is does tapered ends matter or is there a benefit. Maybe im in the wrong forum. :-(

If the heads are off, I would clearance for 7/16" rods.
