Default Elgin E-1841-P Has anyone used it?

Title says it all, i know the 1840 is the sloppy stage 2 was wondering if the 1841 would still be good for turbo or is it too much

I see it advertised as 238/242 .595 .595 112lsa.

too big, with too close of an lsa, and too much overlap. At least for a typical ls turbo build. Looks pretty similar to a tsp ms3?

I dont really think the ss2 is all that well suited though either.

Depends on the size of the motor, heads, etc, but at first glance it is a bit big, and definitely too much duration on the exhaust for a turbo motor.

I just ordered the smaller elgin cam for a customers dod/vvt delete 5.3 silverado. Its a 220/224 112. Ive used it before in a ls swapped 74 caprice. It ran pretty good, and had a nice lopey sounding idle as well. Customer enjoyed it!
