"Some issue with Darton MID sleeves (?) so I am going with Darton dry sleeved LS3"
Very cool build, keen to see how this turns out. I want to do something similar eventually - though was thinking more of going to 4.125 x 4.125 440c.i on Darton MID sleeves given their superior cooling for road racing.... are you able to elaborate what the issue was re the MID sleeves? I'm very keen to know as they sound perfect, but if there are issues with them, be good to know how that can be resolved. I'd be worried about heat soak if I went dry sleeves due to the track time it would see.
