Default L96 without vvt wiring

Hi everybody! I'm looking into replacing the LM6 5.3 in my 2007 Yukon with a new L96. Looks like plug and play, but the Yukon has no VVT provisions.

The question is, can I run this engine without deleting VVT?

If possible I want to just drop in and use a new engine.

Default position on VVT is full advance, right? Should move that heavy truck really well

LM6 does not exist. LMG? No matter, it's not a good idea running VVT without being hooked up. Full advance at higher speeds will run crappy. Better to put a "normal" cam and timing set, along with non-VVT timing cover. VVT is not totally dependable anyway..
