Default Ideas on increasing compression on lh6 envoy engine

I have an 06 envoy Denali with lh6. Is there any way to increase compression to a little over 10 without tearing into the bottom end? Looking for a little more power.

You are at a tit under 10:1 right now. Pull the 243's/799's and mill them then put them back on.

Yeah, 9.9:1 to be exact. Shouldn't have to do more than a skim to break 10:1...

In such a heavy truck it would not be a very good idea to do that even with winter blends and winter air. Make more torque as is youll be happier. Id suggest the stg 2 high lift cam from texas speed.

Let me know if you are interested

I was just looking at that cam the other night. Would porting the heads be worth it on this setup?

They will help, but with such a small cam, its not a do or die type of thing.
If you can budget it, then yes.
