Default anyone running g a similar engine setip

LS2 BLOCK. 4.005 bore
ls crank 3.622 stroke 3.622
Tsp rods
wiseco +12cc Dome pistons k447x3
Prc227 heads 62cc
Ms4 cam

all supporting mods

Planning on doing a set of pistons/rods next month. my ls1 needs a rebuild.. Want to do a high compression ls. should be around 13.3... Question bout ptv clearance with stock head gasket..THOUGHTS? i could go bout bumping the compression by millin the heads instead but figured since im buying a set of pistons anyway id go this route....

The only way to know for sure would be to check ptv clearance with the stock head gasket.

i will be doing this ether way just seeing if anyone else is running these pistons. i know with my prc heads il get more ptv due to the thicker castings and valve angle.

The pistons have valve reliefs so you shouldn’t have any PTV clearance problems with that cam.

well i decided to order a 402 callies stroker kit with 5cc domes. wasnt really liking the idea of running such a big dome to bump up the compression to where i wanted it to be at. Parts are ordered along with new ls2 block. goin to machine shop next week to hone the cylenders to 4.005 and to line hone for arp mains. Should have motor done and on for dyno tune by march
