Help pushrod length
This is my first motor I’ve ever built and I have a 5.3 with comp cam stage 3 turbo cam with ls7 lifters and ls9 head gaskets with 706 heads , if I measured everything correctly I need a 7.435 push rod . Does this sound right ? And where can I buy a push rod in this length?

I put a push rod in my exhaust valve and rotated the motor until the push rod started to come up. I then put my push rod checker in the intake valve and adjusted it until I had no tap or movement in the rocker from side to side it up and down and made sure the rocker seated correctly which came out to 7.350 and I added .085 for pre load

this stuff is maddening! you went for .85 preload LS7 lifters have a range of .200, Tick says he likes to go .100 on ls7 lifters, Try POWELL MACHINE they advertise a .005 tolerance between rods all the reading I have done says even the "name brand " can be off .015 or more, probably easier to find .450 or .425 and I think you'll be good!

I'd go with 7.450 if I had come up with those #.
Remember, metal doesn't grow as it ages, it only wears.
I'd also strongly suggest measuring more than one cyl. I'd suggest the 4 at the corners (1 2 7 8), at the very least.
