Cylinder sleeve
Finally heard back from the machine shop. This is the one cylinder that had a ring land fail. Machinist said I shouldnt have any issues, it doesnt look like it will snag a ring. I dont want to go past .005 over. What do you guys think?

A lot of manufacturers use .006" for advertised duration. You can still calculate dynamic compression with that number and it only be (on average) a tenth of a point off from true dynamic compression.
A LOT of people here try to use the .050" durations to determine the intake valve closing at .050" as an indicator for dynamic compression and torque production, but its WILDLY unreliable.
I often see someone say "It has an intake valve closing at 39 degrees so it should be good for torque production", but its completely irrelevant if there is 70* between .050" duration and .006" duration, which is so often true with cheaper cams that use soft ramp rates and slow valvetrain to reduce wear on cheaper cam cores.

Called cam motion today, Bob recommended their Titan King 232/244 112.5 +3. Sounds like an excellent cam for mid-top end power. Car currently has 4.30 gears and I'm not too concerned with any surging. Doubt I will get any with this cam.
