How long did it take to get yours after you ordered? Did you order through a vendor or them?

Trick is to add more compression & rpm for the cheaper head but don't tell it.
Don't forget Liberty (maker of 1 of the guys known, 4 got the name: spm... ) 11degree as cast Ls3 heads are..400ea. FED / port work $900-1200

Too many options for a budget.....

You can get a few different valves....ferrera or manley, del west, etc. Went with manley hollows. Choose based on rpm and if a power adder is being used.

🤣😂. Guess I should’ve been more specific. It’s just if I do decide on getting them the problem was going back and fourth between the solild/solid or hollowstem/solid options haha

There’s no power adder... the setup should peak around 7400-7500 so I’ll be shifting around 7800

My preference is for solid valves, especially if you plan to run higher spring pressures. With solid lifters you can get away with a lot.

I would run titanium intake and stainless exhaust. Maybe even inconel

Seen the titanium option also. Didn’t know if was really worth the extra cost over the others or not and always heard stuff about running them on a street driven vehicle. Good to know.

Hollows and good springs... A heavier valve needs more spring press to control. No matter hyd or solid roller. ask a ferrera rep or Pac rep....as said @ 730 lift with 7400 - 7500 peak same FED ported factory ls3 heads. Ask Steven or a rep mentioned.
Ti valves run $1200 new...... Spec'ed a 6.200 long hollow stem for a Ls raised runner design to bypass $1300 Ti valves ($4k heads with valves & springs). Hmmmm F10 heads.

I'll leave u with this i could have got the 800+ looked for with factory ls3 heads and not make one. wouldn't do it no other way even if i had to do it all over again. What was learned isn't on any forum all laid out in a thread. I know of guys spending well over 5k in heads and intake yet not out perform a similar cheaper set up. Fact.

When guys start understanding CSA for a given rpm and engine size (theres a formula on wallace calculator, my ls7 heads match the csa for the engine size and rpm 100%. How many can say this with cnc or ported heads?) They maybe on to something. Guy's building basically a race prepared street engine with Generic numbers like it has 258cc or this head works but don't know why besides it has a better valve angle. Funny. No matter what heads are picked, to maximize them they need to match rpm & cid with the head CSA. Some pay twice with a cnc head then another fee for matching the CSA. Funny.

mine were shimmed to leave .060 before coil bind. Very stable with hella terra rocker arms. I do advise to get jesel rockers though as adjustable yet 6653 rockers are a nightmare for valve covers

Ya I’ll be running either and adjustable set if jesels or crowers. Didn’t want to try a. Run a factory rocker on a LLSR setup. I know it can be done I just didn’t want to try it lol.

I’ve got a buddy who is running the pro magnums. So far he likes them. Would like to see more about them before I ever purchase them. If I ever run them it’ll be on another build in the future for my wife’s car
