Default Oil Pressure Take Off Points - LS3

There are two that I know of, one for the oil pressure sensor and one on the L side of the block, down low and near the front. Another one is needed for the Accusump switch which can't use the L side of the block one because the alternator blocks it. Don't particularly want to remote mount the switch or move the alternator higher. So, is there a third one hiding somewhere?.

There is, right above your oil filter location, on the block.

As mentioned, there is the location above the oil filter. It depends on the vehicle and oil pan you're using. Some factory setups have the water-to-oil cooler at this location. What vehicle is it and what oil pan do you have (stock or aftermarket)?

Assuming you are using a factory style oil pan and no OEM cooler already in that location, we make an adapter specifically for this purpose. It has a larger port for plumbing your Accusump to, and two 1/8" NPT sensor ports as well (they can also be used as turbo oil supply lines).

I should mention there is also another oil galley plug at this location as well, just to the right of the oil filter. However it's a tight spot and kind of difficult to access.

Also, the advantage to using these locations is that you get filtered oil. The galley plug location by the alternator is unfiltered oil.
