Default patriot stage 2 heads vs 243 cnc

Hey there boys and girls. i have a 2002 camaro z28 a4 with stock heads, torquer v2 cam, headers, ls6 intake, and exhaust and tune making 372hp to the wheels. quick question... came across some patriot stage 2 heads with no real specs or info other than it recently had been resurfaced and had a valve job after motor was pulled. Am i better off going buying used 243 and do p&p done by reputable Texas performance company, with about $1k invested or go with the patriot stage 2 already ported with about $600 total invested? i (id be using my upgraded springs/components and such from previous cam install) Lastly, any quess on hp gains from either application. thanks

good heads are the basis of making power. the more you can get in and out the more power you can make, but it's the matched combination will make the better combination. do your research and get heads that will compliment you current cam and supporting mods.

Imo valve job you would get from who I think you are talking about will be worth the extra $400

I would get the set of fresh 243 CNC'd heads over a set of used Patriots. Should be a $400 difference that's well spent.
