Buy the best crank you can afford at that level. Yes, the cheapo cranks will hang in there for a bit, but run 2-3 seasons and watch it come apart. Buy the best, you'll be thankful later(Bryant, Wiborg, highend Crower, etc). Rods are a crap shoot at that level. I can tell you to stay away from the Callies Ultra rods. I had a buddy that broke one on the big end w/ a Dart LSA /NOS build w/ only 6 runs on it. They can't handle any detonation, they just break. Carrilo's are always quality, you just have to pay. At that level and above, why cheap out?
