Can’t find any local shops/yards that have ANY 6.0 blocks. Looking at buying a new one from summit. Has anyone had any experience with these new “ready to assemble” blocks?

summit says that PN 19369841 Has a finished bore at 4.000”.... another website shows a finish bore of 4.002” for that same PN..

 

Someone might have put alight honing on theirs. "Official" bore is 4.00"

 

Can anyone confirm whether the GEN-IV L96-lY6 cast iron blocks have siameze cylinders?

 

I have it on good authority the Gen IV 5.3L engines are siamesed, so one could ASSUME (bad word..) larger bore Gen IV engines would follow suit. Hopefully someone with first hand knowledge might chime in on this....

 

OP, As G Atsma stated the finished bore of the Chevrolet Performance NAL-19369841 is 4.000". Also, the Gen IV L96/LY6 blocks do not have Siamese cylinder bores. We confirmed this information with Chevrolet Performance.
