Default Cam C/L

Just got done degreeing my cam in the cam degree in at 111 intake C/L but it was supposed to degree in @ 112 intake C/L what effect will this have my engine? Or I’m I just splitting hairs

Spilling hairs mostly. It would have a very slight shift in the curve towards the lower end (doubt you would be able to even feel it). I wouldn't worry about it.

That's fine, well within tolerance. Keep in mind the position of crank key driving the cam sprocket has a tolerance as does the manufacture of the cam gear.
I always installed cams two degrees advanced since the chain is going to stretch that much or more in short order.

thanks Steve and I know that nothing is perfect . I was wanting to know what kind of effect it would have. And as far as the cam goes it a Mike Jones.

Food for thought -- many lobes are assymetrical. Fast off the seat, slow onto the seat. If you are measuring seat to seat or 050 to 050 or even 200 to 200 lift and using the average, your calculated centerline may not reflect the true centerline of the lobe.

I measure the cam @ .020 of lift due to being asymmetrical lobe .. I guess iam splitting hairs . Thanks for the info.
