Default 2010 LS3 Camaro Engine issue

I was driving on the highway, noticed what felt like a misfire, along with a flashing check engine light, I pulled off the highway which resulted in the worst hesitation ever, i turned the car off before it died. When I tried to start it again it wouldn't even crank over. The mechanic tried rotating it ny hand and it wouldnt go either way. I know its something bad, just trying to get ahead of what parts ill need (besides the obvious)

Nobody will have any idea until it is torn down.

I figured, was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of who makes the best rotating assemblies. I might as well beef it up if I have to rip it apart and rebuild it

If it's mostly stock, it sounds like you'll be swapping in a used engine. To confirm the engine is gone, cut open the oil filter. Probably loaded with glitter. Hell might even see it on the dipstick.

No swapping. Just rebuilding. It didn't blow up. I'm confident I can save what I have.

Not to rain on your parade, but you will only know that upon teardown. Not all engine failures go out in spectacular fashion.
