I have Prolly $50k in hand tools and I like to build things. I’m a tool *****. I love to buy tools, even if I will never need them. Some people spend big money on drugs or alcohol or extravagant homes. I am the opposite. Small house on a few acres with a small shop in the mountains surrounded by wildlife management area. Don’t drink or drug. I like cars and if I want something I’ll go get it. Shoot I’ve spent more on travel baseball with my son over last few years than I have car stuff.
Now on the other hand, I raced asphalt late models for many years and that venture was heavily focused and extremely goal oriented with a huge forfeit of money involved. As fun as that was, I’ve had way more enjoyable moments with my Chevelle build and other Car/truck builds here. I guess the “no timeline” and “no rules” type of build for me is more appealing.
+1 on tools

You really think I just came up with that parts list off the top of my head? Don't be Jealous Jr. You don't have a clue. What it will get me is 2500-3000HP. And I would be happy to see what cam Bort would come up with for that bad boy. Smoke another one dude. Its okay, we understand.

Don't worry about Mr Silver.
First he says this thread is gay, and then he mentions for me to spec you a camshaft also. It's a mock of me but it's ok.
For someone who thinks this thread is so gay, he seems to be quite active in posting.
I'm starting to think he is secretly trying to crack on to one of us.
Lol

Which was exactly the point of my first post in this thread. I knew some idiot like you would pop is with some outrageous hp comment.

Heck let’s add up how much we already have in our current toy(s).

2004 GTO 26,000 miles on it at time of purchase... $15,000

Forged LS3 short block from TSP... $6,000

4l60e built by Rpm plus converter... $4,000

built differential, driveshaft, axle stubs, cv’s... $3,000

procharger kit... $6,000

wheels and tires... $2,000

fuel system... $2,000

parts to complete engine...cam, timing set, gaskets, btr .660 springs, pushrods, rockers, arp fasteners, etc. ...$2,000

suspension parts ... $1,000

I’m already over $40,000 into this thing.

Should go 9’s pretty easy even with a crap 60’ right now. Another $9,000 on cage, 4 link, and other safety requirements would put me up to the $50,000 mark. It might be reasonably fast at that point for a true street car.

Oh I like this...

I'd start with our Billet Wet LS block (427ci) 15.5:1CR our Prototype F710-C (Cannted) 10* LS7 head. Ti valves on the intake and exhaust, copper seats intake and exhaust, 1" S.R. Springs with some Jesel tool steel rockers. Our Prototype billet split carb intake with injector bungs on the top (EFI Duh) Jesel Belt drive and a Dailey's Dry sump , Key way lifters and have that thing rev 9500ish.

Lol the thread was just meant to talk about what engine combos have been brewing in people’s minds. If you had $50k, 100k, whatever to blow on just an engine combo.

Oh if we’re moving up to $100,000 I want a proline/procharger motor.

Even if it was $100k, I would still build the same 373ci "square" stroker (3.9 bore X 3.9 stroke) based on a bored Gen IV 4.8L iron block, using MMS205's and whatever intake Tony recommends, a LLSR cam spec'ed by Martin Smallwood, and a FMRP 700R4 (with engine braking).

Everyone building $100k engines that sound like they are going to take $100k in fuel just to get out of the driveway. You all are freaking crazy. Lol.

What are you going to do with your 500 cubes, 3000 horsepowers, huh? Enjoy it for 5 seconds at a time? Great investment...

Meanwhile, I would build a ~500hp, 6L that I could drive everyday and enjoy everyday. And afford it without further magical installments of $50k/$100k landing in my lap.

lol...we are obviously just playing around. Besides I already have 800 rwhp that I can drive any time and ethanol is cheap and readily available so no concerns there.

Also where you been people don’t have 5 seconds of fun they are in the 3.50’s on radials now. The last radial vs the world final I watched on YouTube was 3.55 to 3.57 if I remember correctly. Everything cool is 1/8th mile now though.

You either have a reading comprehension problem or your just a dumb bastard. I already said you will need 50,000 for the chassis too. What do you come on all these threads just to start **** with people. Most of the time your posts are gibberish and make no sense. So go smoke another one there Punky Brewster, the space ship your ridin on will stop by this planet sooner or later.

Which was exactly the point of my first post in this thread. I knew some idiot like you would pop is with some outrageous hp comment.

Its not outrageous and completely attainable with that parts list. You know absolutely nothing about me, or what I have, or what we are building. So STFU you whiny Beotch.

Thanks for posting. We see who has no clue.

Most struggle using the power they have. And there are plenty of ways to make a car perform better that cost next to nothing.......but erryone gets eat up over a motor. Like the motor moves by itself or something.

But I'll play along. A lsx454r will likely make more power than almost all here will make or use.

**** you stupid bitch. I ppinted out what your dumbass neglected. If you had a ******* clue you wouldn't spend all your $$ on a motor to put it in your **** box car.

Fixed your quote for ya that you fucked up in your typing rage to
