Rich Holdner from all his tests believes an aftermarket 225 or 235 is the best choice for a 6.2.
The thing is, a 235cc aftermarket head, plus a fast intake is a costly venture when you can get stock ls3 heads and a stock ls3 intake for cheap and make some kick *** power.

Used what I had on hand.

Been driving and tuning this. Living in the city it’s hard to find a place to let it rip.
Being a Vette, I can use 2nd gear only, it will start in 2nd. Squeeze the gas, it hits 4K and smokes the tires. Haven’t put it to the wood yet.
Did the first oil change, all good. Cut the filter etc. Always a worry, esp since I built the thing.
So time for the track with the drag radials to take care of the WOT tuning.
Lots of fires here around Portland, and high heat and wind. Weird ****! Hot as hell too. So next week when it cools down a bit.

Yes. Scattered through the city. But Portland is hardly ablaze with riot fires. In spite of what the Pres says.
Either way, it’s stupid.
Might be a good way for me to make the news eh? “Corvette driver tuning his car mows through a crowd of protesters!”
”But officer, I needed to hit full throttle to get some solid AFR data.....”
Tell it to the judge buddy! Ha!

A little perspective about how I roll.
One car garage. Note the garage door in the back.
My Nova has had to live in a tent in the back yard while I did the Vette project.
Tent is where the Vette lives in the winter. Only access through the garage.
Super high wind this week, and high temps blew the tent to pieces!
Once the vette was running, I got the Nova out to do it’s first oil change. I rebuilt the 5.3 over the winter. Bearing issues.
So it had had to wait! Unless someone with a crane could lift it over the house. Actually had a friend offer! Ha!
Got it out as well, not a car you whomp at all on city streets. Did it’s first oil change, all well there too.
You guys will laugh. Built both in my basement! Made ramps for the stairs, used a little Warn winch to pull them up on the hand truck.
Here are some photos.

I like your minimal setup. Yet every punk kid I worked with before I retired (in tech, so they have lots of money for their age) "needs" a 4 post lift in their garage. I'm not even sure they change their own oil. :-)

I painted my headers black with the fancy Rustoleum stuff. They were coated but looking a little rough.
So I declared that “Black headers matter”!
And you do have to hit every cell!

I'm always impressed with the amount and quality of work you guys with limited space accomplish...
(I have 2, 2 post hoists and a drive on hoist. in a 70X45 heated and AC'd shop)
(I still whine when I have to kneel down and set the hoist posts...)

Got it to the track finally. Wild fires, rain, protests......
Tuned the WOT at my local no prep track. No traction, but was promising going 125mph.
Good track today.
Spun hard but stayed hooked first pass went 10.9 @ 126+
So was 1.63 60.
Next pass it did a 1.5 60ft. Never even been close to that. 1.57 was it's best, dead hooking.
ET was a 10.79 and 126 mph.
So, this same track rental last year was cooler with better DA, The 346 ran a best of 11.18 @ 122.
DA today was 1000 or so, quite a lot warmer.
It's hard to compare data, but given the conditions, it's obviously making more torque and power.
I remember folks telling me it would not make any more power, might make more torque.
So here is to a 376, with AFR 205's, 226/230 cam, to say the least, I'm quite pleased!
Give it some -DA......
The best in my .sig, was 50 degree air, -800 DA
