2007 LS2 Vette with 24x LS2 installed.... how to make 58x signal?
I rebuilt a 2005 LS2 from a Corvette with new rings and bearings/hone and apparently that year has a 24x reluctor wheel. I thought that only GTO LS2's were 24x; however I guess that in 2005 the LS2 Corvette was 24x and in 2006-2007 they switched over to 58x.
Long story short a guy bought this shortblock from me and doesn't know anything about LS motors and installed it into his car which the computer/harness is setup for 58x so it doesn't get proper crank signal. The mechanic who did the install (BMW mechanic and not LS) didn't check reluctor wheels to confirm they were the same.... the only info I was given prior to sale was that this was an LS2 Corvette and I disclosed what year my shortblock was from. Aside from pulling the motor and swapping reluctor wheels.... is there another way?
I reached out to ATI and try to put a 58x wheel pinned to the balancer and have an external crank sensor bracket made and they said it would interfere potentially with the steering rack.... also the wait time was going to be months?

This module from Lingenfelter only changes signal from 58x to 24x.... and not the other way around:

I'm trying to help this guy out with a solution.... before he has to pull the motor. Any ideas/thoughts?
Couldn't a billet/waterjetted 58x wheel be machined and then put onto a balancer?
