2012 6.0 questions
2012 6.0 questions Working on a fox body and wanting a cam only engine. Will use a 799 or 243 head. I have a gen 3 5.3 complete. I have a 2012 6.0 short block. I want to use a 411 pcm. Question is what do I need to change on the 6 liter so I can use the 411 pcm? Can the reluctor wheel be interchanged? Can I use a 5.3 or ls1 crank instead? What about the cam sensor?
if all else fails is the weights of the gen 4 rods close enough to use on the gen 3 5.3 without balancing? Thanks for any info.

The easy way without tearing down the 6.0L engine would be to use the Lingenfelter 58X to 24X conversion box. Then use a 4X timing gear to trigger the cam sensor.
