I'm super excited! 4.185 bore x 4.250 stroke, Mamo LS7 heads, Performance design intake, 2" long tube headers. I recently lost my job due to covid-19 and wasn't able to follow through with doing the solid roller set up. So for the time being it's gonna be hydraulic roller .675/.675 lift, 262/276 duration, 114 + 4.
Congrats! I'm curious, is HPR set up to do dyno runs or at least break-in runs on a dyno before shipping? I haven't seen that mentioned before, so I'm assuming not...
How did you decide on the Mamo heads for this combination? I like that choice btw, just curious. And what intake will you be using with it?
Finally, how long from order to shipment? I recall reading about your choice not that long ago. I thought I remembered they were on a long lead time at HPR.
I ordered the short block on July 17th. Like everyone else they have trouble getting parts due to covid-19. I decided on the mamo heads because several others had used them with good results. The setup will be tuned locally.
