I had a dart block engine built last year. It was run on the engine dyno primarily to make sure it was ok since it was the first ls next motor the engine builder had assembled. It was the unskirted block run with no windage tray and an f-body oil pan. Has AI ported LS7 factory heads and a Race Proven Motorsports B-3 cam. Unfortunately it was run with a factory LS7 intake and stock throttle body. It has 12:1 compression. It made 662 hp. I'll see if I can find the sheet and post it.

you have a bad *** motor to go with a bad *** bird. That’s one of my dream cars.

At what point (spring pressure) do you go to a 3/8 pushrod? Maybe things are getting heavy in valve train after 6500 but great power output up to that point. BTR might have some stats on their set up. It appears in the numbers it drops really hard at 6300 then comes back at 6400 then drops again 6500 then bounces up at 6600.

@Grip - That's not a criticism of the build. I just see what honestly looks like it could be valve float and don't want to see you hurt the motor.

I was thinking it might indicate the need to step up to 11/32. Cathedral heads often need clearancing to run 3/8, but a 11/32 will typically work great.

Spoke with engine builder. Hiccup with dyno. It applied the dyno brake too hard on that run for a second there. It can happen if there is a decrease in the water flow to the dyno and then all of a sudden it jumps back in and the pressure surges.
Valve float would cause the power to dip and stay down.

My passenger side steam vent plug leaks like crazy when the car is cold and then not a drop when the temps go above 160. Any thoughts on how I could seal it up? Tried two different plugs and an ICT crossover pipe setup as well.
Fuel rail covers are not mounted...have to fabricate some brackets for them.
Mounted the regulator on the strut tower with a custom bracket.
