L92 Pistons

L92 Pistons Buliding a L92 and want too upgrade pistons/rods since i've heard alot about the stock pistons being the first too fail in these motors. I'll be running stock crank wont be doing any boreing too the block heads are ported 823s with NO mill also will be ugrading cam currently have the f35 but will be going with a 245/258-111lsa (flycut required cam) with ported ls3 intake aswell.
Can somebody point me in the right direction for pistons/rods. Will be naturally aspirated will not be going boost or nitrous at all just want something too have fun and reliable on the weekends without being worried of anything breaking id appreciate the help.

I don't know where you heard that, but the first parts to fail in stock engines are the rods, and then only over 7k RPM.
Stock short blocks are very durable.
I would stay with the F35 for street use.
Bottom line, your pistons and rods are fine. Don't spend money needlessly, and find a new source of engine info. These forums are very good sources.
