What’s wrong with the cam? Same duration and LSA I picked for mine but I have .774/.756” lift.
What compression did they run? My 427 will be 12.5:1…
I see a small dome on their pistons but the valve pockets are pretty big. Maybe a +3cc overall?

they Never said the Compression..I'll go find the Short block Build...
780 is and Was Shown and it Looks tooo Damn Easy. Reason I didn't like the cam Lift 🤣
800fwhp was Right there, I can see it with a bit More Lift..
side 🎵 note.
Saddest Day in America for the Godzilla fan Club and there Factory Port 😢 on YB. I hated to do it 🤣 as I like a good Fight.. poor Zilla needs Forced Induction or a Aftermarket head.

Spanks I'm gonna go with your Compression thought of 12.5 as it Avg's out with a 427 I know of with More lift, Less compression Smaller 105 TB.
They give us Nothing but we Know....

With what I'm at .....lift Is my Only Friend... But Hear it can Really do Wonders. Compression is set in Stone @ 12.2...
408 cubic inches....
Goal of Match - out Do teacher With Rules...750 was the Normal minimum And the Championship. He had Rules ....
+ 1 for me on Size and Compression. He Taught me Well.
That 790 fwhp 418 higgin ls7 Build is looking Touchable I know it had 13.1+ Comp...
Cam LIft...👍

Was talking to my Lil Brother TJ in Vegas.... He's now doing a 416-418. I haven't pressed him on his thought.. But told him I've come up with Something for a bored person like me to do.... That doesn't cost Much? Can I get a Larger Intake valve Than what's seen or Known same bore size. Sent this pic and TJ says ....You got something. Figure 2.220 to 2.230 all Dependant on Valve weight with a Hollow stem @ 5.5+ inches long. I've got a 2.20 Manley 5.4 long Hollow stem test valve.
Maybe buy a valve and see...STR8 Head used a 2.250 valve @ a 11 degree angle. If I knew the valve spacing and it's points.... Just buy a 2.250 valve and size it and or cut it down to a Clearance free size... 2.225 Would be nice.
This is Cole testing a Ls7 head on a 4.065 bore....
I've Shrunk the Exhaust... .035 bore Difference 😴
The intake Has more than Enough for a .020 - .025 valve increase VS a 2.20 valve.
IDK but will see.
