Default 102mm TB to Waterpump clearance

Installing 102mm TB to 102 FAST manifold on my ls2 based stroker in my GTO, seems the water pump is getting in the way. Very top of the waterpump is keeping the TB from alligning with the manifold. I heard of people useing ls1 Camaro water pumo for clearance. Can anyone confirm this and post part number and make of water pump if so.
Thanks,
Be safe.

It's the LS2 water pump that you need. I believe the two halves are pressed together vs bolted together like the LS1. I had one before I swapped to an Edelbrock 2pc. You will also have to use spacers so that the pulley lines up correctly. I have a thread on here about it. I will look it up.

LS2 ACDelco 252-846 is the water pump that I had. It cleared the 102mm intake/throttle body.

THIS is my thread about having to space the water pump pulley out a bit. The thread says it is for the Edelbrock water pump, but the LS2 pump was the same way.

That is a great way to do it and a good write up, you can also just grind a bit on the offending area at the top of the LS1 water pump, just take it easy, when I did mine I'd take a little off then test fit, repeat until it fits with a little clearance, once it's all put together you can't even tell.

I had to clearance my original LS1 water pump for TB clearance when I installed the Fast 102 intake. Corvette, the WP was original to the car.

When I replaced that pump with the one you just mentioned, no grinding required. Hope you find the same.

On my LS7 on the MSD 102 I had to take a little bit out of the water pump for it to clear also. I have a C6 Corvette. Sometimes I wonder if these manufacturers ever install their products on a car first. If the manifold is designed for a 102 then lets make sure it fits.
