I have the dual 4500 lid on a low ram base. But since you want to keep your RPMs lower, the Hi Ram will work perfect for what you want.

Just ordered: holley high ram lower, blank Holley upper, and a 6500 accufab throttlebody.

Appreciate it brother, this is with the 4500. The plan is to make some hits and get some base times, then pull off the hood and add the plexiglass scoop to see what gains can be had. Later I'll install the 6500 and retune to see if it picks up more.

Very interested in your testing with the scoop. I am on the fence about it.

I would love to see some MPH testing with scoop vs. no scoop. Obviously it must work or everyone wouldn't be doing it on full blown drag setups.

Unfortunately we got rained out this weekend. I'll post results good or bad as soon as I get back to the track.

Got the engine fired up today with the new intake. Happy to say my intake leaks are gone and the weather looks clear for racing this weekend.
