Did I just mess up new cam bearings

Something you might encounter with OEM cam bearings is that they are very out-of-round!! At least mine were. They rely on the blocks bearing journal to 'make' them round when they're pressed in. I made a set of cam bearing insert/removal tools out of Delrin before I retired. The plastic is much easier on the bearing shell. I was VERY disappointed at the out of round OEM cam bearing shells. I see now why a lot of builders use Durabond......
