821/823 Head 1.600 Valve Data?
821/823 Head 1.600 Valve Data? Hi all, I am doing some playing around with some bare 821 heads I have that I am going to have valve job'd and I am going to hand port them. I think I am going to put a 1.600 exhaust valve in them, was wondering if anyone had any data out there on this? Flow #'s, Dyno runs, etc. I know it'll flow better, just trying to get a handle on how it'll affect the cam selection. I know It's been a "thing" for a while having LS3's with wide splits(have actually noticed it even more lately in a lot of revised cam profiles from different shops), but I am thinking with the 1.600 exh valve, maybe go backwards a tad and narrow it some ala "cathedral" cams. Just some thoughts. Thanks
