Default HPR 468 finally getting some track time

Been a while since I've been on the boards, but I'm happy to report I FINALLY got some track time with the car.

I'm currently running the pTR intake and NW103 theottle body, which cost me roughly 25 RWHP.

I only got 2 passes on November 12th, but I was able to cut a 1.575 60' on only my 2nd dragstrip launch in over 4 years.
Unfortunately, the power fell off after the 1/8th mile mark and only ran a 10.125@139.......but, it went over 113 MPH in the 1/8th so it looked promising. DA was 1500, air temps in the mid 50's.
Ended up being fuel related (pump E54).

I ran Streetcar Takeover in Phoenix on the 18th, which is a day event so the DA wasn't great but the car still ran great (even with 91-97 IAT's with the heat coming off the track).
I was in street trim with only my drag pack on (no additional weight trim) and a full tank of fuel.
I only got 3 passes there, with a best 60' in the 1.675 range, but it ran a 10.2@143. The car ran in the 139-143 range during the roll event, with me spinning to a 2.2 60' time even with 40 mph rolls.

I have one final night event coming up before the year's end, so I'm hoping I can get great air and DA (for Phoenix) to finally put it all together for some great passes.
I'll be reinstalling the Holley Highram and 112 throttle body for this event (where i made the most power), plus doing my usual weight removal process.

Here's some pics from the SCT event, and the two slips from the 12th and 18th.

What size tires in the back? On the 143 mph run - did you get a better fuel delivery then? Looks pretty good a just under 3.5 seconds in back half. Barring the DA adjustment, were you in about the 670 hp at the tire mode?

I'm on a 315/30/18 Hoosier DR2.
I added a few gallons of C85 to get my ethanol content up to E64 (according to the flex fuel sensor reading). Depending on launch and not hitting the rev limiter, my other 2 passes that day were 139.2 (hit limiter) and 142.45
My November 12th run was on pump E54 but I did not check the %, but a fresh fill up after SCT only shows E45....maybe a winter formulation in AZ ?
You're probably spot on for the uncorrected RWHP that day, as SAE corrected for that combo registered 685-690 RWHP on JMB's dyno.

We have one last drag race event at Wild Horse Pass drag strip on December 10th, 2022. After that, there are no more street car drags on the calendar for that track, which was originally scheduled to close down after the final NHRA event in March 2023

I'll reinstall the Holley Highram intake and NW112mm throttle body for this event, which is the combo I made the most power with (roughly 25 RWHP more than the current pTR/NW103 combo).
I'll perform my usual weight savings routine and pray for great weather and DA for December 10th, then hopefully put it all together with great launches to see what the car is capable of...if the old man driving it is up to the challenge
The drag racing portion of the event hopefully runs into the evening hours, so if I can get weather similar to the November 12th (DA +1500), I hope to eclipse the 143 MPH trap speeds I saw during the day event at SCT.

FYI - Wild Horse Pass Raceway drag strip sits at 1,154 feet above sea level.

I put out an invite to the other local C6 Z06 owners to go racing one last time before we lose our track to see if my car is up to the challenge against the other fast Z's.
I think we have one that's gone into the high 9's with spray, but I haven't stayed up to date on the local scene the past few years so I don't really know what the other N/A car's have accomplished in my absence.
To the best of my knowledge, no C6 Z06 has gone into the 9's here in AZ running strictly N/A with a stick....so that is my target

143mph is moving! You need to look on your phone and it will tell you actual DA for that day.
What does the car weigh with you in it?

Are you foot to the floor powershifting? That will net an additional 1-2mph easy.

I did one better.....a racer had a weather station on hand at the track
They haven't had the scales running the last few times I've been out, but my guess is 3400 lbs with me in it the last few track days.with a full tank of gas. (I'm currently 250-255)
THis weekend, I'll be in full track mode (pull passenger seat, low fuel, yank exhaust, and lithium battery), which I think is good for 150 lbs +.
I will also be pulling my high drag (down force) Katech spoiler, which might give me a tad amount of mph given I'm in the 140 traps speeds...maybe.
I hope the scales are operational this weekend, and I can get an exact number.

I don't NLS, but I also don't go the full pedal stroke on my clutch. For me, even NLS, the clutch is decoupled from the engine so not providing any forward thrust, so I ease up on the throttle a tad to ease the stress on the syncro's and driveline

F' me !!!!
I have never heard of a drag race event being "sold out" !!!!

Got an email today stating that the drag racing portion of this weekend's event is SOLD OUT, and I'm on a stand by list, like a passenger on a flight
So frustrating.....

Car is ready to go, and we are expecting good weather conditions this weekend.
My next chance is the 29th in Tucson, but that track is at 3000+ DA.
