Random Misfire After new heads
2005 Chevy Corvette LS2. ALL STOCK. No mods. No tune.
Replaced heads with stock 243 heads.
Installed New LS7 Lifters and Trays.
Problem: After the install, small revs or sometimes on deceleration, or even just driving I’ll be monitoring my tech 2 misfire data, and every once in a while I’ll get a couple counts like 2 or 4 misfires on random cylinder never just one. Completely random. No check engine light. Nothing. I can’t even feel the misfires they just show up on my tech 2.
Inspected:
-No vacuum leaks
-Felt Pro gasket, have good luck with them.
-Torque everything to spec.
-no exhaust leaks
-New Crank Sensor and Crank Relearn
-New plugs and Wires, acdelco
what can this be. My only thought is, since I reused my stock ls2 pushrods, they might be too long to work with the LS7 lifters. I’ve read on here that LS7 lifters are 0.050 taller than the stock LS2? Could this be it?
idk what else it can be other than maybe having to adjust the tune.

i checked all my grounds. On c6 ls2 I believe there is no ground on the back of the head it’s on the side by the alternator on the frame according to the service manual.
Ohmed all my plugs coils and injectors and they’re all the same no big discrepancy.
glad y’all are saying it might not be the pushrods.
I have a video I’ll attach to show what I mean.
