I think these are great numbers for mostly stock, cathedral port heads and a pretty mild cam. To be that cam is like Franks Red Hot Sauce...

The 823 heads have rectangular ports. It does seem like a mild cam. The idle is pretty smooth.

Sorry...yes... rectangular...I use this cam in my 5.3L when it was NA and loved it. It's still in the, now rebuilt, 5.3L and is getting boosted.

I also have a customer with a NA LS3 with that cam and it's a runner.
