From Might Mouse website

All of our catch can systems are fumes controlling and crankcase filtering PCV systems. We have multiple trim levels and top options to suit your needs, from mild to wild. It is the Mightymouse green solution that the automotive aftermarket needs for our environment.

I'll just say that it's MAYBE better for the environment but not so much for the engine..I've said it once and I'll say it again that positive crankcase ventilation means pollution controlled vehicle. There's probably some benefits to having PCV and yes the blowby can be factored into the tune of an engine and still run efficeintly but it but it dosen't outweigh the expense for replacing/cleaning the parts from the effects of PCV. To this day all the race cars I've seen uses vacuum pumps and catch cans with a breather or some other way to expel the blowby.
