Budget piston? I am looking for a budget friendly piston that I can run with a stock rod out of my 06 LS2. I’m not looking to make power to the moon and back. Just looking for a piston capable of 650-700whp at some point. What’s out there ?

D.S.S. Racing, iCON, or the Summit brand will be the "budget friendly" brands.
With any piston replacement, you will need to measure each piston and cylinder to make sure you have the proper sidewall clearance in each cylinder. I used the D.S.S. Racing "SX" model pistons for a 6.0L build earlier this year. The machine shop found 3 pistons that were a slightly different size from the rest. They had to hone a few cylinders to match those 3 pistons. It's the small details that make or break a build, especially a budget build.

Icon FHR would work well and quite inexpensive.
