Bore/Piston I've just stripped my LS2 and found the pistons have .50 stamped on them. From what i've looked up this seems to be .5mm/20thou over?
However when I measure the pistons(at there widest point they are 4.011" and the bore is 4.017").
I'm confused as expected the pistons to measure 4.020" and the bore to be around 4.025".
Any help appreciated as i'm trying to get some replacement pistons.

Bore should be measured with a dial-bore gauge for accuracy, from top to bottom…not only for sizing, but for taper also. Use a quality outside mic to measure piston at the skirt, about an inch up from the bottom, for proper sizing. Perhaps this is how you did these procedures? Welcome to LS1Tech!
