First time rebuild L92 with some upgrades

Default First time rebuild L92 with some upgrades

Im new at this field and need your advice in the part's that i have chosen.

I got l92 6.2 engine out of 2007 yukon with 200k miles still run with oil pump start to go out so im thinking to upgrade it i little bit.

My purpose is to have maximum durability with the upgrades that we will use im not racing just full pedal sometimes for fun with friends.

Any suggestions about the part's will be considered.

For the cam im confused between
GT11 215/231 - .631/.644 lift 118.0 CL
cam motion mild ls3 stage 1 (212/222-116+3)
Cam motion mild ls3 stage 2 (216/226-116+3)

​​​​​I want silent cam or very little sound cuz the country that i live in have strict regulations for sound .

​​​​​​I Need ur advice chosing the most durable upgrades for
1-Pushrod what's the max thickness i can use with stock head .
2-dual springs 660 lift with steel retainers or should i go with titanium?
3-Rocker arm is it enough to do a trunion upgrade or roller rocker with trunion upgrade.
4-what bearing(main & rod) is the most durable King xp or king hp or gm and do i have to go stock size ?

Part's that i got
mahle flat top Pistons standard
Meling high pressure oil pump .
And im using the stock crankshaft

Give me yor advice in the part's with part's to go with .

I have the GT11 cam and love it. It idles stock basically. You do need to setup the valvetrain right, otherwise it's super noisy, ask me how I know. The .660 springs are crap, get the Lingenfelter recommended springs or I can make a recommendation. DM for more info.

3 people recommend the GT11 but from what i read it have very high lift so im worried . I can't send you cuz my account is new

It's hard on valvetrains. Comp ground it....

Don't worry, just set it up right the first time. Use all Lingenfelter valvetrain and it'll be fine. I have 30k on mine, it's a great daily driver cam w/ amazing power for its size.

Great to hear it held for 30 k with no valvetrain issues. . I just picked one with the springs . Did u run stock rockers !

Yes, stock rockers with a trunnion kit. Fyi, lifter preload is important, set it up around .060-.070 preload, maybe a touch more or it will be noisy. Run a good pushrod, 11/32 .080 wall or .120 wall.
