Pretty sure the Summit stuff is the "good stuff" rebranded at a cheaper price point. You won't have any issues with their stuff.

I used LS3 heads on my LS7 build in my 67 Camaro. 566/555 at the wheels with a moderate cam and Holley single plane intake & Terminator TBI. Torque all day long... Plus, the LS3 heads have none of the valve issues.

Does anyone know if Steve will assemble the bottom end if stroking the block?

I consulted him about my LS7 w cracked sleeve and he suggested a 5.3 in place of it machined out to 4.125 bore. He did not say if he would assemble it however or what cost would be. Wondering if he does so?

When I called he aaid all he did was sleeves, so I dont think he does. If you go to his services page on the website is just lists design, sleeve install and cam testing.

Yeah. I figured. I don't want to get into sending the block all over kingdom come for machining and assembling. Crazy..

Can't find an OEM LS7 block to save my life. Iron LS NEXT is too heavy and the aluminums are too expensive!

Steve will not assemble. He’s simply too busy to get to anything like that between sleeving and doing all the R&D he does. He’s about 5 months behind currently.
