Default Morel Lifters

Not sure if oil hole in new Morel lifters need to be installed facing up( toward intake), or facing down ( toward short block). Would appreciate the help.

I've installed them both ways. Didn't have an issue with either. I was told they need to go a certain way but, again, I didn't have issues either way.

What does Morel say? It may be worth a call or email to get their take on it.

Have the lifter hole face the bore oil feed hole.

That is probably the best way, though either way works fine. IIRC, the C5R block is one block that requires the oil feed hole be aimed at the oil galley.
