Default LS3 stroker cam and fuel octane

TSP B.F.D. "Chop Monster" LS3 Stroker Cam:240/252 .600"/.600" 112 LSA 109 ICL

So I want to run pump gas, 91 to 93 octane since it’s easily available. I’ve figured I’ll have a 10.72:1 compression ration to achieve this, while running this cam. The cam calls for 11:1 compression. My question is would this be a tuners nightmare or practically impossible to pull off? LS3 block, 4.000in stroke, 4.075in bore, with ported tsp ls3 brawler heads, 3500 stall converter, 105mm throttle body + intake

Gasket thickness of .66??? Standard or Cometic .040s would boost compression and work better, especially with the Cosmetics

Definitely would want a thinner head gasket with that combo. An LS3 is 10.7:1 stock, so being a bit over 11:1 will run fine on pump fuel. That compression calculator isn't that great, really. There's no input for ring land volume and compressed gasket thickness doesn't account for gasket bore diameter. Find a different calculator that allows more inputs so you can determine compression more accurately.
