Default Ls7 crank in ls2 w/ wet sump?

I have a guy selling an ls7 Crank near me for a good price. I've seen stuff floating around (but nothing super concrete) about using an ls7 with a wet sump. Does anyone have any solid info on what's needed to make it work?

Thanks!

Default Ti-Rod Crankshaft Balance

Hi, the cost to shorten the Crankshaft Snout is small.
The COST to balance this crankshaft with STEEL rods is large.

Yes, unless you are planning to run the LS7 rods, I would look for an aftermarket wet sump crank. Balancing the stock LS7 crank with steel rods will likely cost you upwards of $800, alone. That, with the cost of the crank itself, you could get a new aftermarket K1 or Callies for not much more.

agreed 100%. Better off buying new steel crank. Balancing is gonna run $800+…
