Gpi ss4 nfc

I was just wondering if anybody has had there heads milled on ls3 with this cam (gpi ss4 nfc) and if so did you have enough vavle clearance.

This is the exact numbers

I haven’t ran that camshaft, but on an LS3 (OEM pistons) with a much smaller camshaft, I had to fly cut. No way that cam is going to work with LS3 heads, especially milled heads on true flat tops.

The NFC stands for "no fly cut", but if I remember correctly it specifically says on the website that you cannot mill the heads.

gpi says if they are milled at all you will still have to flycut

i run a slightly smaller cam in mine and have 823 heads decked .030" and had to flycut

only way to know for sure is to PTV clearance test it yourself and go from there

NFC is for No Fly Cut with Unmilled Heads as others have mentioned. Always best to check PTV Clearance though.

PTV Clearance is based both on Intake Duration and LSA.
