Default 409 FI L96 Stroker Build

Building a new engine for my 2010 YSI-supercharged M6 Camaro. Currently running SBE with E85, homeported CTSV heads 1050X ID injectors and a PatG spec'd cam 224/240 .619/.619. I want to pull the LS3 before I hurt it and I like the stability of an iron block for FI. I'm not worried about the weight penalty. The car is not a racecar. It sees about 2500 miles a year and maybe 50 passes. Just my car to enjoy to work on myself and drive on the weekends.

Based on what I have listed below what other factors should I consider? I know I will need more fuel and bigger injectors

Seasoned L96 block ARP Studs (Line hone, deck and bore/hone)
Compstar 8cwt 4" Crank
Lunati Voodoo 6.125 rods
4.035 Wiseco RED series 2618 flat top pistons
Frankenstein M311 BM heads
Johnson 2126 short travel lifters forced pin oiling
Cammotion Centri cam 238/256 .629/.612
LS3 Proflow XT intake
Rollmaster billet timing set
Compression should be ~11.2:1 depending on gasket thickness an where the piston ends up at.

I was thinking of YT 10mm bolt rockers - Thoughts?

Appreciate sage advice,

All of it looks good.. I would just use a standard/stock rocker on it.

With the bronze guides, I’d def run the YT 10mm rockers.

Scott, what is the main advantage of bronze guides?

Pros are the natural lubricity of bronze cuts down on stem wear, easy to machine, and they are plentiful.
Cons are its a softer material so it wears faster than an iron guide, which is why roller rockers are needed, and they cost a little more than an iron guide.
That’s the jest of it. There’s more to the story but that’s the highlights…

Thanks! I will go YT 10mm bolts. Are the bolts ARP per chance?

Guess I will be needing some valve cover spacers too. How tall do they need to be?

Bolts are a 10.9 Allen head fastener. YT makes a tall gasket that they offer as the spacer. It works well, just DO NOT overtighten the valve cover bolts or you’ll strip out the valve cover bolt threads in the head. Tony Mamo is a dealer for YT, and has the stuff in stock. He offers the best customer service in the industry, hands down.
….edit…make sure your m311 heads are threaded for a 10mm rocker fastener. They very well may be, but that’s an upgrade on most aftermarket castings.
