L77 popping in exhaust?

L77 popping in exhaust? Hi and thanks for taking time to read this.
2014 Caprice 6.0L did a mild cam and DOD delete several years ago. Recently it started making a very faint popping sound from what sounds like from the rear and under the car, only at low rpm like idling through a parking lot, or just starting out in first gear. There was also a clicking noise heard inside the cabin from the front of the car. Since the coils had been on the car since I got it, I replaced them and the plug wires, the clicking sound is gone, but the popping sound from what sounds like the exhaust did not go away and now is getting worse, if I accelerate quickly from a stop it sounds like someone is hitting the bottom of the car with a deadblow hammer. Once up to speed the sound goes away completely, and, once the car has been driven for 10-15 minutes the sounds almost completely goes away at low rpm.
What might be causing this?
