I dislike that drop though. My 200k mile lt1 with a melling HP by po doesnt do that. Rock solid 45psi hot idle 50 cold stays in that range.

not sure if your reply was @ me or not but my next oil change I’m going to do at 500-1000 miles and change it right after I let it get to full temp to see if there’s aeration. My last oil change was completely fuel washed and had a lot of foam but I’m also running super rich so I’m not sure if that was a mixture of air and fuel or vr1 doesn’t react very well with lots of e85 in the oil lol. Fresh 20w50 vr1 and still no change in the pressure drop. My stock afm oil pump never dropped below 45 idle and made 60 at anything over 2000 rpm in my old 5.3 set up which is even more frustrating lol. Its a rebuilt engine from a van or U-Haul I believe. I also didn’t shim the pump but I doubt that would cause this issue
