5.3L sleeved and bored to 4.125", 3.75" stroke, *85, V3 Ti boost limited to </= 20 PSI. Looking to make 1,000 Wheel or as close ats it gets.

What rockers are the quality/performance level equivalent of 2116 lifters?

I like the fact that YT's are paired to keep them aligned. Of course the BTR shaft kit does that. I am looking for roller tips.

I have the Texas Speed roller rockers. Just make sure you have a little more spring pressure to account for the extra weight. It is not much, maybe 10 grams over the nose more. Those are Brodix BR7 heads and the pedestals are a little more robust than OEM. My spring pressure are not that high say 155# and 450# seat/open, cam lift is 660, this is on an LS7.

I also run the TSP roller tip rockers on my LS7. Been great for 7000 miles so far, been up to 7500 rpm more times than I can count. 0.664" lift with BTR 685 springs.

Would the TSP rollers work with the BTR shaft kit?

It might work. I think just having 2 rockers together like the Yella Terra would work fine. Too have all 8 connected together is nice but I think 90% of it can be accomplished by just connecting just 2 together.

I already have the shaft kit and was thinking about swapping to roller rockers if I could find some that are OEM fitment etc

I've seen it done. On the comp's too. You have to press the bushings out of the TSP rockers and install the BTR trunions and assemble the shaft rockers.

To the OP - I don't see a reason to go away from stock rockers so long as your lift is below ~640.

good to know, thank you. Looking at them i suspected they would be compatible, but my spare parts bin of such purchases says otherwise

Roller tips will lead to less friction, more HP, and longer guide life. There's no drawback EXCEPT cost, and weight over the nose, which can be easily compensated for with good springs. I kept the stock rockers on my LS7. It wore out the guides, and Ti intakes, twice in 40,000 miles. This time, I listened to Tony Mamo, and got Yella Terra full rollers. The wipe pattern on my stems is as close to perfect as it gets. We will see how long the guides last.....
