I recently bought 2 Denalis (2 different deals) with blown trans in order to take out the 6.2's. One has 5364 heads and the other has "823" heads BUT the "823" is upside down from conventional LS casing number locations. I have searched and searched on the Google's but cannot find any info on why or how?
Weird. Someone was toking up a little too much that day. It's not only upside down, it's on the wrong end.
exactly, my friends usually say, "its just the right side head is on the left" or something along those lines until I say, "think about what you just said"... hahaha

there's no telling what the story is, anything could of happened to that head. I seen a guy at a car show years ago that had a 300z with his last name stamped on the engine block so anything is possible.
