We won't build it sorry Time will tell if you build it in the states with Holden Zeta platform, But it will be a differn't car to ours, And it's a gamble to move away from holden to far.

RK Sport has a nice looking hood for the GTO that looks like the old style, as well as a body kit that makes it look a lot better.

I don't care what some hillbilly in a 2000 Z28 thinks, 2004 GTO is a great car and its a pity all you "car people" flammed it.

I don't like this car. It's the wrong concept. It's a sendan. Looks like it was born at a factory somewhere in Asia. Nice engine, wrong body.

I am a bit surprised at the dyno numbers myself. I Was thinking about it on the way in to work this morning.. (See, I'm obsessed and I don't even have my 05 yet!) ..my 99 WS6 put down 325hp (stock accept for MTI lid) on the ground (http://www.trans-am.net/jason/images/dynohalf.gif) . I would think the GTO would have dyno'd a bit higher than it did. Was that an auto or a 6psd?

I know that HSV orders LS1 engines from the US, then they get sent to Calloway here in CT for head work and other upgrades before being sent to Australia. Dont know if the Monaro or GTO get these engines though...

But GM High Tech did run a 11.97 out of the 04 Z06 so its all driver. but right out of the gate 1st run they did get a 12.03 out of it so I think them old *** motor trend drivers need to quit there driving a stay with the writing!

I've read anywhere from 3725 to 3780lbs for the curb weight. I could have sworn they said the 05's were a tad lighter than 04's but dont quote me there.
